Welcome To Napco Tools, Inc. 

Napco Tools was started in 1994 by Dan Smith. With all the activity in the construction of a nationwide fiber network, Dan saw a need for facilitating the fiber cable installer and splicer. 

Whether a splicing trailer, tent or truck is being used the first step is preparation of the cable to be spliced. Anyone who has ever worked with fiber cable knows the pitfalls of opening a cable inside a clean lab such as a splicing trailer. 

Dan developed and introduced the nationwide standard, the “Cable Table”, specifically designed for this application. Many hours have gone in to the design and engineering for a perfect Fiber Splicing Table, from a black Formica top for easier visibility of fibers to height adjustment and leveling legs, makes this the ideal tool for all applications. 

The Cable Table is available in three sizes and folds for easy storage inside a vehicle. 

Following the Cable Table Dan introduced the “Handy Wheel” and economic measuring wheel that fits the bill, but did not satisfy Dan’s desire to offer high quality industrial products. Dan developed the “Dura-Wheel”, a high quality wheel available only through our quality distributors. The Dura wheel is available in three models, The Pro, DW-1000 and DW-500. The Pro has handle controls while the other models have manual resets. All models have sealed bearing shaft, belt driven counter, commercial grade counter, skid plate to keep wheel free of debris and fold for compact storage. “The last wheel you’ll ever have to buy”.
